The Armstrong/Bergeron Dance Company (ABDC)
is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) modern dance company dedicated to
the creation and
performance of modern dance. Artistic Directors, Carisa
Armstrong and Christine Bergeron, have been
choreographing professionally since 1998 and have
been collaborating together since moving to Bryan, TX in
2003. Their work has
been critically and popularly acclaimed in Texas, Ohio,
Illinois and Florida and been described as moving,
clever,
athletic,
and
skewed.
Most recently reviewers from the Dallas Morning News and the
Star-Telegram praised ABDC’s work
Velocity
calling it
daring,
effective
and
exhilarating.
Every fall, ABDC presents its annual concert
at StageCenter Community Theatre in downtown Bryan.
Our spring fundraiser features a new work
performed by the company, live music, food/drinks and a
silent auction/raffle.
The support from this fundraiser assists with the
artistic and administrative growth of the company as well as
its involvement within
the community.
ABDC is dedicated to connecting with the
community through art based outreach programs.

Community Performance
enriches the community through lecture
demonstrations, question and answer and performance.
The company also offers workshops in modern dance
technique, creative movement, choreography, improvisation,
partnering, pilates, and yoga. |
